TEMPOSOFT 2 Time Flow Tap

The TEMPOSOFT 2 is a time flow basin tap with a soft touch push head that automatically shuts off water flow after a preset period, preventing taps from being left running. Flow is delivered through a replaceable time flow cartridge with an integral flow straightener.

The tap connects via M½" fitting to a pre mixed supply and delivers a controlled flow rate of 3 litres per minute, reducing water consumption by over 85% compared to conventional taps. ACS certified, with a 30 year warranty.

Key Features

  • Soft touch push head: The head activates flow with minimal effort and returns to the closed position automatically when released, with no mechanical locking required.
  • Automatic shut off: Water runs for a fixed duration after each push and stops regardless of whether the user remains at the basin, preventing unattended flow.
  • Controlled flow rate: Delivers 3 litres per minute, achieving over 85% water savings compared to conventional basin taps.
  • Pre mixed supply connection: Connects to a single pre mixed supply via M½" inlet, requiring no separate hot and cold supply connections at the tap.
  • Replaceable time flow cartridge: The cartridge is a listed spare part, allowing targeted maintenance without full tap replacement.
  • Integral flow straightener: A removable flow straightener is fitted as standard and is also available as a spare part.
  • 30 year warranty: Covered by Delabie's 30 year product warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the time flow mechanism work?

Pressing the push head opens the cartridge and starts water flow. After a fixed preset time, the cartridge closes automatically and water stops, regardless of whether pressure is maintained on the head.

Can the time flow cartridge be replaced on site?

Yes. The time flow cartridge and flow straightener are both listed spare parts, allowing in situ servicing without removing the tap body.

What type of supply connection does this tap require?

The tap connects to a single pre mixed supply via M½" inlet. Where separate hot and cold supplies are available, a thermostatic mixing valve should be used upstream to deliver mixed water at the required temperature.
